Loved our room 156. Grounds, so much to see. Food was great and our waitress was great and out going. Dining room they gave us permission to enjoy for our reunion. At night had dancing, bar, and fire. Scenery was beautiful. Anyone would enjoy !
My father “Doc” worked staff at Catskill Mountain Thunder for 20 years. My family and I were always a big part of the resort. Doc was a very warm hearted man, and left a fabulous impression on everyone he met. My father passed away suddenly in August. My family was in desperate need of some financial help for the transportation and burial. Many of our friends whom also were a big part of the resort for years, reached out to the owners, simply asking them to put a donation bin in the bar, where he often played his guitar and sang. They simply refused! I was blown away at the sheer demeanor and negative attitude of the owners. I suggest not spending your money there!
Great place for the Catskill thunder bike show. Never a bad time. If you enjoy bikes and anything that has to do with bikes, this show is a must to attend.
Older resort being renovated. Rooms were clean and nice. Staff was friendly and accomadating. Dogs were welcome. Grounds were beautiful. Food was fantastic!
Quaint camping resort nestled in the Catskills near Windham Mountain. We went for Catskills Mountain Thunder. The resort itself was lovely, however the buffet did not offer a wide variety of foods. For this particular event it was $15 and included a beverage. There was a small selection of salad options, three types of meat (pulled pork, chicken, and sausage and peppers), red potatoes and green beans. There were no dessert options.
